These doorknob hangers are the first set created. The 8 statements could be about problems in a love affair, feeling dissatisfied at work, longing for your neighborhood as it was, or even frustration with the government. This artwork is about any type of relationship that results in a broken trust.
They were part of a public art festival on 14th street in Washington DC before it was developed.
